Disruptive technologies are "up-starts" that represent a leap in innovation and
vision. It takes a creative and experienced entrepreneur to imagine the product
platforms, build up the management team, sell the concept to investors, and
bring these technologies to market. We at GENO constantly seek research
institutions that attract grant funding and have a long roster of top-flight
research scientists and technopreneurs.
At the Global Entrepreneurs Network Organization's (GENO)
Technology Showcase, you will be able to view licensing-ready technologies that
have tremendous start-up potential. The technologies will be organized by
subject area, and each subject area will have a small conference room where
brief presentations of the technologies will be made to an audience of
entrepreneurs and investors, followed by a question and answer
session. Each research institution will also have an area where
commercialization managers can discuss their respective technology transfer
processes with attendees. The event will end in a reception for all
participants and further networking.
